Organic Farming

The Organic Farming program consists on working closely with farmers on buy-back system of Organic produce, in order to achive the followings:

• Educate farmers on organic practices.
• Complete monitoring of farming practices right from Sowing to Harvesting.
• Buy back the product at a premium.
• Provide training to the farmers

Two projects are run in different geographic of India

• Non-Basmati
• Traditional Basmati

These two projects are maintained under the following organic standards

The Mechanism of the program

• The team is headed by an Agri Expert having minimum 10 years of experience.
• A team of Agri graduates (Field Motivators) working at farm level.
• The Aarties of respective areas engaged for selecting the farmers and buying back the produce.
• Field Motivators remain in constant touch with farmers for their daily advisory needs and monitoring.
• The team working under guidance of a Senior Scientist working with Ebro.
• Training provide to the farmers from time to time
